Installation steps
- Download: Tap the Android APK link above or scan the QR code to download the lancar app file to your phone.
- Install: Open your file manager, find the downloaded APK, and tap to install. You may need to allow unknown sources in Settings.
- Register: Open the app, create a new lancar account with email, username, and password, then verify your phone number.
- Start playing: Add a payment method (DANA, e-wallet, mobile banking, local payment, online payment, e-wallet, mobile banking, local payment, online payment, or e-wallet), deposit, and access live tables or sportsbook.
App vs. browser: why mobile-first matters
The lancar app is faster than the web browser because it caches game data locally on your phone. This means live tables load in seconds even on slower connections. The app also sends push notifications when a game result is ready or your withdrawal is approved—the browser cannot do this. Offline mode lets you view your account history and game records without internet. The app uses less battery than keeping a browser tab open all day. Touch controls are optimised for phone screens, so buttons and menus are easier to tap. If you prefer not to install, the web version works on any phone browser, but you will not get notifications or offline features.
Device compatibility & requirements
The lancar app runs on Android 7.0 and newer (released 2016 onwards). Most phones sold in the last five years meet this requirement. For iOS, we support iOS 12 and newer via browser access—no native iOS app is needed. Your phone needs at least 100 MB of free storage for the APK. Internet connection must be 3G or faster for live-dealer video; 4G or WiFi is recommended. If your device is older or runs an unsupported OS version, use the web version instead.
Troubleshooting common install issues
If installation fails, check that you have enabled "Unknown Sources" in your phone's Security settings (Android). Some phones block APK installation by default. If the app crashes on launch, clear your phone's cache and try again. If you see a certificate warning, this is normal for direct APK distribution—tap "Install anyway" to proceed. If the app cannot connect to lancar servers, check your internet connection and try restarting your phone. If you are in a region where lancar services are restricted, the app will not connect; verify your jurisdiction's local laws. Data, permissions & account security on lancar
The lancar app requests permission to access your phone's camera (for identity verification during KYC), microphone (for live-dealer chat), and storage (to save game logs). We do not access your contacts, photos, or other personal files. All data sent between your phone and lancar servers is encrypted using TLS/SSL. Your account password is never stored on your phone—only a session token that expires after 30 days of inactivity. If you lose your phone, log in to lancar on another device and change your password immediately to lock out unauthorised access. We recommend enabling two-factor authentication (2FA) on your lancar account for extra security. Never share your password or session token with anyone.
